Job summary

West Dunbartonshire Council's Ashton View Project seeks a part-time Project Support Worker to help homeless individuals move from temporary accommodation to permanent or suitable housing. You will build positive relationships and support residents to identify strengths, aspirations, and goals.

This role involves day and night shifts with enhanced payments for night work, and you will join a supportive team delivering compassionate, person-centred services.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme membership is essential and a PVG update may be required before offer.
• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals and working in homelessness is advantageous.
• Ability to develop life skills and promote independence.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, professional relationships with residents.
• Support individuals to identify strengths, aspirations and goals.
• Assist residents to develop life skills promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Work across day and night shifts to provide 24-hour support within the team.
