Job summary

West Dunbartonshire Council is seeking a full-time Project Worker for the Ashton View Project to support people experiencing homelessness as they move from temporary accommodation toward permanent housing. You will build relationships, identify goals and help develop life skills for greater independence and wellbeing.

The role involves day and night shifts with 24-hour support; PVG checks are required and enhanced night-pay is offered.

Qualifications

• This is a Regulated Role with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2020; PVG membership is essential.
• PVG Scheme update checks may be required prior to a formal offer.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, professional relationships with the people supported and identify their strengths, aspirations and goals.
• Support individuals to develop essential life skills, promoting independence, resilience and long-term wellbeing.
• Provide a 24-hour support service with a mix of day and night shifts; enhanced payments apply for night shifts.
