Job summary

Surgo (Pty) Ltd in Cape Town is recruiting for a Store/HMR Department Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure SPAR standards, and lead staff in housekeeping, hygiene and security compliance.

The role requires Grade 12, about 2 years HMR dept experience and 5 years store experience, with strong customer service and leadership capabilities. You will manage attendance, performance, and cost controls while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification required.
• Approximately 2 years HMR department experience.
• Approximately 5 years store experience.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling of the staff ensuring adherence to scheduling procedure.
• Induction and training of new staff members to the expected level.
• Ensure compliance of the staff daily duties planned.
• Address performance and personnel issues in a timely manner.
• Take responsibility to meet the performance targets as set by Senior Store Management.
• Adhere to company Rules and Regulations and Policies and Procedures and ensuring staff compliance there to.
• Daily management of staff with regards to delegating tasks, motivation, and discipline.
