Job summary

Nedbank is seeking a Relationship Manager to acquire and deliver banking solutions to high-value clients, including SBS and affluent professionals, while delivering exceptional client experiences.

You will manage a portfolio of high-value clients, perform needs analyses, and collaborate with specialists to provide value-based solutions. Strong regulatory knowledge and a drive to grow client relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have Matric/Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate.
• Advanced Diplomas or National 1st Degrees preferred.
• FAIS Accreditation Level 1 required.
• 2–3 years’ experience in Business Acquisition.
• 2–3 years’ relationship management experience is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license and own transport are essential.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and deliver banking solutions to high value clients, delivering great client experiences.
• Improve client service by offering relevant products based on client needs.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of high-value clients.
• Uncover sales opportunities and execute them.
• Conduct needs analysis across clients' financial influence spheres.
• Respond promptly to tasks on relevant systems.
• Build professional relationships with high-value clients.
• Deliver banking solutions that meet client needs.
• Understand clients’ business, personal and household needs.
• Foster sound relationships and trust in Nedbank’s ability to manage complex needs.
• Engage clients proactively and cross-sell with specialists.
• Ensure work follows processes and escalate issues to senior management when needed.
• Contribute to policy/procedure improvements and regulatory compliance.
