Job summary

Nedbank is seeking a skilled Banking Relationship Manager to acquire and deliver banking solutions to high-value clients in South Africa. The role focuses on understanding client business and household banking needs, building a robust portfolio, and delivering tailored products and services.

You will engage with clients to identify opportunities, perform thorough needs analyses, and collaborate with specialists to provide value-driven solutions while maintaining rigorous compliance and risk

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 or higher is required with business-related qualifications.
• FAIS accreditation Level 1 is required.
• 2–3 years’ experience in business acquisition is essential; 2–3 years’ relationship management experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and deliver banking solutions to high-value clients by understanding client business and household needs.
• Deliver on targeted products and services measured through client management systems.
• Build and maintain a portfolio of high-value, complex clients.
• Uncover sales opportunities and act on them.
• Perform needs analysis across clients’ financial influence spheres and onboard into Nedbank.
• Respond to tasks promptly and maintain compliant documentation.
• Establish professional relationships with high-value clients and cross-sell solutions.
• Ensure banking solutions meet client needs and align with risk policies.
