Intercare Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager in the Eastern Cape to oversee health-practice operations. You will build relationships with health professionals, ensure service quality, and drive productivity in line with company policies and legislation.

You will lead staffing, budgeting, and change initiatives, ensuring ethical standards and regulatory compliance across branches, while delivering consistent customer satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum requirement: Matric Certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification will be an advantage.
• Healthcare industry experience would be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of labour legislation, financial and change management principles.
• Computer proficiency (MS Office 365).
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a management role.
• Drivers License and own transport.
• Business focused and vision orientated.
• Emotional Intelligence including high level of empathy.
• Inspirational leadership influence and competence.
• Planning, organizing and controlling skills.
• Assertiveness and diplomacy.
• Integrity.

Aufgaben

• Build and manage relationships between Health Professionals and the Company.
• Ensure the implementation of processes conducive to customer satisfaction.
• Identify improvement areas and implement initiatives for customer service.
• Ensure sound operational practices aligned with the operating model.
• Demonstrate management of all activities and services in the branch per legislation and policies.
• Support and drive national operational initiatives and projects for productivity.
• Facilitate revised operational processes using change management principles.
• Initiate and drive practice-specific best operating practice per policies.
• Ensure resources are available for a productive work environment.
• Adhere to monthly and annual deadlines.
• Communicate changes and initiatives to stakeholders.
• Adhere to ethical and clinical standards to meet legislative compliance.
• Manage activities and services in practices per legislation and policies.
• Meet registration requirements for required bodies.
• Participate in yearly internal audits with corrective actions within 3 months.
• Implement local business strategy aligned to national strategy.
• Monitor operating costs and turnover.
• Provide feedback on budget deviations.
• Involve in budgeting and planning by identifying trends.
• Manage operational costs in line with budget.
• Manpower planning for adequate staffing.
• Develop team members for business efficiency and performance management.
• Support Human Capital initiatives including Industrial Relations.
• Adjust fixed and variable staff costs to occupancy levels.
