Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic Head of Operations for its Centurion-based technology firm. You will guide the operational framework to enable scalable growth, align strategies with business goals, and drive efficiency across departments in a dynamic tech environment.

The role requires 10+ years in operations, with senior leadership experience in software/tech, strong SDLC and agile expertise, and a proven track record in budgeting and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field is required.
• 10+ years of operations experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in tech/ software.
• Proven scaling of operations for a rapidly growing tech company.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with budgeting, P&L, and financial management.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement operational strategies aligned with long-term growth and product roadmap.
• Oversee daily operations: project management, service delivery, IT infrastructure, and customer support.
• Lead and mentor a diverse operational team with a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to boost efficiency.
• Ensure scalability of processes to support growth and new markets.
• Collaborate with executives, engineering, sales, and marketing for alignment.
• Manage vendor relationships and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance metrics and report findings to the executive team.
