Placements24 is seeking a Resort Activities Manager for a luxurious beachfront resort in Durban. You will design, implement and manage a diverse range of guest activities, leading a team to deliver memorable experiences for guests of all ages.

The role requires strong organizational and creative skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to drive engagement and guest satisfaction within KwaZulu-Natal's tourism sector.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a hospitality or leisure environment.
• Strong event planning and program development skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Creative thinker with a passion for memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and execute a comprehensive schedule of daily, weekly and seasonal activities.
• Lead and supervise activity coordinators, fitness instructors and support staff.
• Source and manage external vendors and entertainers for activities and events.
• Oversee setup/breakdown of activity areas ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Manage the activities department budget including procurement and reporting.
• Continuously assess guest feedback and market trends to improve offerings.
