Blacksmith Agency leads PPC and SEO for clients across multifamily, B2B and technical verticals. As Director of Performance Marketing you lead that department. The PPC strategist and the SEO strategist report to you and they are the specialists in their channels.

Right now nobody owns this function, which is the whole reason this seat is open. This is a management seat; you will not be building campaigns, and on technical SEO your strategist will know more than you.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO
• Experience owning channel strategy and budgeting across multiple accounts
• Strong depth in Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Meta and Microsoft Ads
• Proven ability to turn around underperforming accounts and communicate outcomes
• Comfortable being the client-facing owner when accounts underperform
• Agency experience managing many accounts at once

Responsabilités

• Own the PPC and SEO functions, including quality standards and reviews for the team
• Define and enforce the agency's audit, reporting and deliverables standards
• Own client results across the full function and ensure reporting integrity
• Lead escalation on at-risk accounts and direct the strategists to fixes
• Own channel strategy and budget allocation as accounts scale
• Define what can be credibly delivered to sales before it is sold
• Lead the hiring plan and conduct first-round interviews for your team
