Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to lead the PPC and SEO function. You will supervise the PPC strategist and the SEO strategist, set channel strategy, and own budget allocation as accounts scale.

This is a management seat, not an IC role. You will define audits, reporting standards, and client-facing accountability, while the strategists execute campaigns.

Three conversations in the process; no take-home project and no panel interview.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO.
• Deep knowledge of Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Meta and Microsoft Ads.
• Experience turning around at least one client account.
• Experience mentoring or managing strategists/specialists.
• Agency experience carrying many accounts.

Responsibilities

• Own the PPC/SEO department and lead the team of specialists.
• Set channel strategy and budget allocation as accounts scale.
• Ensure department delivers with clear audits, standards, and client-facing accountability.
• Lead hiring plans and interview early-stage candidates for the team.
