Blacksmith Agency seeks a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to lead the PPC and SEO function across multiple clients. You will own channel strategy, quality standards, and budget decisions while the strategists execute campaigns. This is a management seat, not an individual contributor role.

You will be the client-facing owner when accounts underperform and will oversee hiring and first-round interviews for your team, ensuring strong cross-channel collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO.
• Depth in Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Meta and Microsoft Ads.
• Experience owning channel strategy and budgeting for scale.
• Ability to lead and review work of strategists, not hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Own channel strategy and budget allocation as accounts scale.
• Set quality standards, audits, and reporting expectations.
• Ensure client reporting honesty and GA4 accuracy.
• Lead escalation when an account is at risk and guide strategists to fix it.
• Oversee hiring plan for the department and conduct first-round interviews.
