Sandi Crowther Recruitment seeks an experienced Operations Manager in Durban to oversee day-to-day operations, budgeting and governance for a purpose-driven non-profit with Christian values.

The role works with the CEO on strategic initiatives, manages facilities, IT systems, regulatory matters and external service providers, and builds collaborative, accountable relationships across staff and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years in a broad operational/ business management role.
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, controls and reporting.
• Governance, compliance and risk management knowledge.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Experience in a non-profit environment is advantageous but not required.

• Oversee day-to-day operations and administrative functions.
• Manage budgets, expenditure, reporting and financial controls.
• Support CEO with planning, initiatives and priorities.
• Oversee governance, compliance and risk management.
• Manage facilities and external service providers.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and efficiencies.
• Oversee IT systems and administrative resources.
• Coordinate contractual and regulatory matters with external professionals.
• Support marketing and other organisational initiatives.
• Foster collaborative and accountable working relationships across staff and stakeholders.
