Placements24 is seeking a Lead E-commerce Performance Marketing Manager to drive paid acquisition and optimize campaigns from Cape Town. You will lead a high-performing team, manage substantial advertising budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize ROI.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of e-commerce performance marketing experience, strong analytics, and expertise across Google & Facebook ad ecosystems. This role offers growth and exposure to cutting-edge marketing tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or quantitative field.
• 7+ years in progressive performance marketing, specifically e-commerce.
• Proven track record in managing and scaling paid acquisition campaigns with large budgets.
• Expertise with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager and other major platforms.
• Strong analytical skills using GA, data viz tools and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated performance marketing strategies across paid channels.
• Manage and optimize large advertising budgets for ROAS.
• Analyze campaign performance, website analytics, and customer data for insights.
• Lead and mentor a team of performance marketing specialists.
• Collaborate with content, design and product teams for cohesive campaigns.
• Stay updated with trends and best practices in performance marketing.
• Oversee A/B testing for campaigns, landing pages, and creatives.
• Report KPIs and campaign results to senior management with actionable recommendations.
