Placements24 is seeking a strategic Head of Business Development in Centurion, Gauteng to drive growth through technology-enabled operational improvements. You will lead end-to-end sales cycles, foster partnerships, and align sales, marketing and delivery teams to deliver measurable client value.

You should have a strong background in business development, with 8+ years in tech or operational consulting, excellent negotiation and relationship skills, and the ability to craft compelling value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or engineering (MBA a plus).
• 8+ years in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships.
• Proven success in closing complex B2B deals.
• Strong understanding of operational processes and supply chain management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with CRM software and sales methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities within operational efficiency and technology sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and strategic partners.
• Lead the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
