Pretoria East | Senior Leadership Role

About The Role

The Head of Banking Partnerships will lead and grow the client's strategic banking relationships, alliances, co-brand partnerships and sponsor-bank network. The role also carries responsibility for bank and non-bank designation initiatives, the payments and collections business, and leadership of the broader sales process across pipeline management, bid discipline and commercial opportunities.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who can build and lead a team while operating confidently across complex banking, corporate and regulatory environments.

The ideal candidate

You will bring:

• Senior experience within banking, financial services, fintech or strategic banking partnerships.

• Strong experience in banking alliances, partnerships or co-brand arrangements.

• A sound understanding of banking and payment ecosystems, including sponsor-bank and regulatory considerations.

• Proven commercial judgement and the ability to turn complex opportunities into sustainable partnerships.

• Strong executive-level stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

• The ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple commercial workstreams.

• Confidence operating in multi-stakeholder environments where commercial, banking, regulatory and technical considerations intersect.
