Placements24 in Kimberley is seeking an experienced Aviation Training Manager to design, develop, implement, and oversee training for flight crews, maintenance, and operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety excellence.

You will lead a team of instructors, align curricula with SACAA standards, manage LMS and training simulators, and drive a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation training, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations pertaining to training and certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and training simulation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the overall training strategy and curriculum for flight, maintenance, and ground operations.
• Oversee the scheduling and delivery of training programs, ensuring timely completion and effectiveness.
• Ensure all training programs meet regulatory requirements (e.g., SACAA) and industry standards.
• Manage a team of instructors and training specialists, providing guidance and support.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain training records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with advancements in aviation training methodologies and technologies.
