About the Role

Our client, a premier golf club situated in the picturesque coastal town of Mossel Bay, Western Cape, is searching for a distinguished and customer-focused Head Golf Professional. This key role is responsible for leading all aspects of the golf operations, including the pro shop, club services, tournaments, and player development programs. The Head Professional will ensure an exceptional experience for all members and guests, upholding the club's high standards of service and play. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of golf operations and retail management. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all daily golf operations, including the pro shop, club storage, and practice facilities.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive tournament and event schedule for members and guests.
• Provide high-quality golf instruction and coaching to players of all skill levels.
• Manage golf shop inventory, merchandising, and sales, ensuring profitability and adherence to brand standards.
• Supervise and train golf operations staff, including caddies and shop attendants.
• Develop and implement player development programs, clinics, and lesson packages.
• Maintain excellent relationships with members, guests, and golf industry partners.
• Ensure the highest standards of customer service are met across all golf operations.
• Manage the club's fleet of golf carts and associated equipment.
• Collaborate with the Greens Superintendent and Club Management to ensure a seamless overall club experience.

Requirements
