Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of lifeguarding experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/manager role.
• Current Lifeguard certification from a recognized authority (ILS/Red Cross).
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications current.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, enforce safety regulations and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise a team of lifeguards.
• Develop and implement emergency action plans and conduct drills.
• Conduct regular lifeguard trainings to maintain skills.
• Oversee daily aquatic facility operations, including pool maintenance and water quality.
• Enforce facility rules to ensure patron safety and security.
• Manage aquatics budget including staffing and equipment.
