Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Aquatic Facility Manager to lead operations at their premier water sports and recreation center in Centurion . This role is critical for ensuring the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction across all aquatic areas, including swimming pools, splash pads, and associated facilities. You will manage a dedicated team, oversee daily operations, and implement robust safety protocols to maintain a secure and enjoyable environment for all patrons. This is a key position within the Leisure & Sports sector, requiring strong leadership and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day operations of the aquatic facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Supervise, train, and schedule lifeguards, swim instructors, and maintenance staff.
• Develop and enforce strict safety policies and emergency procedures, conducting regular drills.
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of pool areas, equipment, and water quality testing.
• Manage the budget for the aquatic facility, including staffing, supplies, and repairs.
• Plan and promote aquatic programs, events, and swimming lessons to maximize facility usage and revenue.
