Job summary

The Recruitment Pig is seeking a Product Manager: Hardware in Midrand to own premium hardware brands and drive daily product operations. You will forecast stock, manage stock levels, and coordinate launches with vendors and resellers to support the sales team and customers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in ICT distribution or technology wholesale, with strong negotiation, Excel skills, and a collaborative, proactive mindset to thrive in a fast-growing distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICT distribution or technology wholesale.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT hardware, servers, storage or networking equipment.
• Solid experience in demand forecasting and stock control.
• Strong commercial negotiation abilities and good computer/spreadsheet skills.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and team-player mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily sales performance and stock availability for leading hardware brands.
• Forecast monthly stock requirements to maintain balanced warehouse inventory levels.
• Build strong working relationships with international vendors and local reseller partners.
• Secure special project pricing and register commercial deals to assist sales teams.
• Coordinate product launches and product training sessions for channel sales representatives.
• Work closely with logistics and warehouse staff to ensure on-time order delivery.
• Monitor technology market trends to identify new business opportunities for the team.
