Job summary

Ultra Personnel in Gauteng is seeking a hardware sales professional to represent and promote our hardware, tool products and services within Pretoria. You will secure orders, drive sales and provide excellent customer service, while meeting GP targets and keeping the Regional Sales Manager updated on activity.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in hardware sales, strong product knowledge, excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and holds a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Customer-centric approach and excellent written and verbal communication are essential.
• Strong product knowledge and self-motivation.
• Persuasiveness and ability to travel extensively within Pretoria.
• Must hold matric and a valid driver's license.
• 2–5 years hardware sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Representing and selling the company’s hardware, tool products and services to customers and obtaining orders in the allocated hardware markets.
• Achieving agreed sales volumes and GP targets for the area of responsibility.
• Keeping the Regional Sales Manager informed of competitor activity and customer status and weekly activities.
• Obtaining new business by calling on new and existing customers and obtaining orders and also promoting new products into the market.
• Achieving high levels of customer satisfaction by calling regularly on customers, ensuring orders are processed and delivered, following up with customers, and resolving problems speedily.
