Job summary

Delaire Graff Estate is seeking a fixed-term Receptionist/Switchboard Operator to warmly welcome guests, help with enquiries, and guide them to outlets and experiences on the estate. You will operate the switchboard, relay calls and assist with bookings while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor.

The role requires Grade 12 and hospitality awareness, with 1–2 years in reception, strong English communication, and the ability to work evenings or weekends as part of hospitality hours.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Grade 12 with hospitality exposure or certificate.
• Previous reception/switchboard experience preferred.
• Excellent English, verbal and written communication.
• Well presented with strong customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a warm, sincere manner.
• Operate telephone and switchboard for all calls.
• Provide information about the estate and facilities.
• Coordinate bookings and communicate with outlets and security as needed.
