Job summary

Protea Hotels by Marriott® in Cape Town is seeking an F&B Service Expert to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will perform guest relations, serve and assist with food and beverages, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards across all dining areas.

You will coordinate with the kitchen, ensure accurate orders, and assist with in-room dining and service steps while upholding Marriott policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Guest relations and F&B service experience desirable.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive and timely manner.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests with a smile and friendly greeting.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond to preferences.
• Set tables per event/service standards and coordinate with kitchen.
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders promptly.
• Follow safety, security, and cash-handling procedures.
• Complete closing duties and daily cleaning checks.
• Work with team and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
