Job summary

FOUR POINT 0 seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth in the industrial software and sensors market. You will own category sales performance, lead initiatives, and expand market presence across agri-processing, HVACR, pumping/water, and broader industries.

You will partner with engineering teams to translate technical solutions into compelling commercial value, build strong client relationships, and stay ahead of industry trends to inform strategy and negotiations.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years field technical/engineering experience in industrial environments.
Minimum 8 years in sales, marketing, or commercial roles with demonstrable success in business development.
Strong background in industrial software and sensors; experience selling software into technical environments.
Demonstrated category sales ownership and ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear commercial value propositions.

Responsibilities

Lead business development initiatives for industrial software and sensor solutions.
Own and manage category sales performance, ensuring revenue and growth targets are met.
Develop and execute strategies to penetrate applications in agri‑processing, HVACR, pumping/water, and broader industry sectors.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted technical and commercial advisor.
Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to align solutions with client requirements.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
Deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure contracts.
