Job summary

OUTsurance is seeking a driven Broker to grow the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance. The role involves selling personal and commercial lines through active prospecting and door-to-door canvassing.

The ideal candidate has 3 years external sales experience, a matric, a valid code B license, and FAIS/RE5 qualifications where applicable. A vehicle is required for this field-based role.

Qualifications

• Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate is required.
• FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on DoFa) and RE5 (depending on DoFa) are advantageous.
• 3 years external sales experience in a face-to-face environment.
• Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management and opening doors.

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop the business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance.
• Sell personal lines and commercial lines by prospecting and canvassing for new business.
• Report to the OUTsurance Broker Regional Manager and collaborate with the Commercial team.
