Job summary

OUTsurance is seeking a driven Broker Tied Agent to grow and develop the short-term insurance portfolio by building a book of personal lines and Commercial lines. You will prospect, canvass, and close new business opportunities while aligning with the wider Commercial team.

The role requires a proactive, self-driven sales mindset, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Matric or National Senior Certificate completed.
• Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access.
• 3 years external sales experience in face-to-face environment.
• Experience in lead generation, cold calling, relationship management.
• FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on DOFA).
• RE5 (depending on DOFA).

Responsibilities

• Grow and develop the short-term insurance portfolio.
• Build a book of personal and Commercial lines by prospecting.
• Sell insurance products through canvassing for new business.
• Report to Regional Manager and collaborate with Commercial team.
