Connect in Cape Town is seeking a South Africa-based BDR to drive outbound pipeline for the Demand Generation function. You will engage target accounts, support event-led prospecting, and book qualified meetings for the sales team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 0–3 years of sales or customer-facing experience.
• Strong English communication with senior stakeholders.
• Coachable, competitive and resilient in a fast-paced role.
• Curious about business, tech and customer experience.
• Comfortable representing Connect at events.
• Organised to manage daily outreach and follow-up.
• CRM/LinkedIn/Sales tools experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Outbound prospecting and qualification: research target accounts, outreach via LinkedIn, email, and cold calls; qualify and book meetings.
• Event-led prospecting: identify relevant events and generate meetings from event campaigns; attend events when required.
