Job summary

Network Finance seeks a seasoned Group Accountant to drive financial reporting and consolidation for a large, international mining business. You will review intercompany accounting, ensure IFRS compliance, and provide insightful commentary to senior management.

You will support audits, strengthen controls, and help enhance group reporting processes across complex structures. Requires a BCom in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years of experience, and strong ERP and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting / Finance degree required.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant accounting experience.
• Mining industry experience is essential.
• Advanced ERP systems exposure and strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review group financial reporting and consolidations
• Manage intercompany accounting and resolve reporting discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards
• Analyse financial results and provide meaningful commentary
• Support audit processes and maintain strong financial controls
