Job summary

Globe 24-7, in partnership with a key mining client in South Africa, seeks a Senior Financial Manager to join the Johannesburg team. You will manage group financial reporting, statutory compliance, consolidations, audits and tax, ensuring IFRS-aligned reporting and strong internal controls.

The role requires extensive leadership and stakeholder management, with exposure to group-level governance and cross-functional collaboration across finance and operations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in the mining industry with focus on financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial information and financial statements.
• Ensure IFRS and statutory reporting compliance.
• Support corporate tax and related tax-reporting requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain and strengthen internal financial control environment.
• Review accounting treatments and provide guidance on financial reporting matters.
• Support finance policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with operational finance teams to ensure timely reporting.
• Provide broader financial management and leadership support as required.
