About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Ground Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of ground handling services at their Richards Bay facility, with the flexibility of a remote role. This position is essential for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and quality of ground operations, including baggage handling, aircraft turnaround, passenger services, and ramp management. You will lead a team of ground staff, implement best practices, and collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain seamless flight operations and exceptional customer service. This role demands strong leadership and operational acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all ground handling operations , ensuring adherence to safety, security, and operational standards.
• Develop and implement efficient procedures for aircraft turnaround, baggage handling, cargo loading, and passenger services.
• Lead, train, and motivate ground operations staff to achieve high performance and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor operational performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with flight crews, maintenance, and other departments to ensure timely and safe aircraft departures and arrivals.
• Manage resources, including equipment, staffing levels, and budget, to ensure cost-effective operations.
