Placements24 is seeking a proactive Graduate Logistics Coordinator for its East London operations. The role focuses on coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and collaborating with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure smooth international trade flows.

You will gain hands-on experience in logistics, import/export processes, inventory control, and transportation management within a dynamic port city environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Good communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with import/export procedures is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the shipment of goods, both domestic and international.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients and internal teams.
• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Resolve any logistics‑related issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities.
• Assist in optimizing transportation routes and costs.
