Placements24 is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator specialized in international trade to manage operations in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape. You will handle import/export documentation, liaise with brokers and carriers, and optimize cross-border shipments.

The role requires 4+ years in logistics coordination, with strong knowledge of freight forwarding and ERP systems. A hybrid work setup offers on-site coordination in Port Elizabeth and remote administration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in logistics coordination with a focus on international trade.
• Solid knowledge of import/export procedures and customs clearance.
• Experience with sea, air and road freight.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipments (sea/air/land).
• Prepare import/export documentation per customs rules.
• Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders and carriers.
• Track shipments and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Negotiate freight rates and terms with service providers.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments for logistics expenses.
• Maintain knowledge of trade regulations, tariffs and compliance.
• Manage supplier and customer relationships with strong service.
• Support process optimization for efficiency and cost savings.
• Work in a hybrid model for Port Elizabeth operations.
