Job summary

Premier FMCG invites applications for a Graduate: Industrial Engineering position based in Johannesburg. The role focuses on analyzing production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and implement lean initiatives.

You will collect data, track KPIs and support SOP creation across departments. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in industrial engineering, are proficient in Excel, and work well in teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing production processes to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and waste reduction.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collect and analyze production data to track KPIs such as throughput, yield, and downtime.
• Participate in time studies and workflow analysis to improve labor and equipment utilization.
• Help develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to support operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including GMP, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to special projects related to automation, layout optimization etc

What will you be doing?

Requirements

Entry:

• Grade 12
• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field
