Job summary

Communicate Finance is seeking a hands-on Industrial Engineer to lead and optimise projects from concept through implementation in a manufacturing setting in the Western Cape.

You will analyse processes, drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and monitor budgets and timelines to deliver measurable efficiency gains. The role also emphasizes data analytics and the development of robust SOPs to sustain improvements.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience:

• Approximately 5 years' experience within a manufacturing, production, or operational environment


• Proven experience leading or supporting project implementation initiatives


• Strong understanding of process optimisation, production systems, and operational workflows


• Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities


• Experience working with stakeholders across multiple departments

Qualification:

• BEng / BSc / BTech in Industrial Engineering or a related field
