Job summary

Jellyfish is seeking a Senior Learning Programme Manager to lead and scale a global training and readiness programme supporting over 1,000 resources for a technology client. You will own end-to-end delivery, partner with the Learning Director in South Africa, and drive continuous improvement across multiple workstreams.

The role is a 9-month fixed-term contract with immediate joiners encouraged, requiring strong operational leadership and ability to influence in a matrixed organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in training ops or program operations, global enterprise preferred.
• Proven ability to own end-to-end program from start to finish with prioritization decisions.
• Comfort in fast-changing, evolving programs.
• Strong stakeholder management to influence and drive decisions without formal authority.
• Experience identifying and mitigating program risks.
• Experience operationalising AI-driven processes via Claude/Copilot/GPT.
• Excellent organization to manage complex parallel workstreams.
• Strong analytical mindset turning data into insights.
• Excellent written and spoken English for senior stakeholders.
• Experience in global, matrixed environments.
• Proactive, ownership-driven and able to work independently in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Owning end-to-end operational delivery of the training and readiness programme across multiple interdependent workstreams.
• Leading onboarding and readiness experiences for programme participants, ensuring consistency, quality and scalability.
• Leading cross-functional meetings and driving clear decisions and follow-through.
• Presenting programme updates, insights, and risks to senior stakeholders.
• Running training refresh cycles and adapting to changed processes or tools.
• Owning content governance cycles and ensuring materials are accurate and compliant.
• Managing intake, prioritisation, tracking, and delivery of readiness requests at scale.
• Maintaining and improving operational trackers and programme docs.
• Monitoring health metrics and turning data into actionable insights.
• Spotting risks early and escalating with context and recommendations.
• Escalating operational issues and driving resolution across teams and vendors.
• Managing day-to-day relationships with vendor partners and ensuring delivery standards.
• Partnering on continuous improvement, including AI and automation pilots.
