Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Human Capital Operations Associate for a 6-month contract in Sandton. The role requires 4+ years of HR admin in a corporate setting and 2+ years in payroll processing, with international HR exposure.

The incumbent will manage employee data in HRIS and payroll systems, verify inputs, produce payslips, and handle documentation for terminations and employee records, ensuring adherence to policies and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 required.
• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Human Resource Management.
• 4+ years experience in HR administration in a corporate environment with multiple functions/operating companies.
• 2+ years experience in payroll processing.
• International exposure within HR environment.

Responsibilities

• Process employee data in HR information and payroll systems within prescribed timeframes (leave, changes, new hires, resignations, etc).
• Prepare, submit and store documents for terminations (Certificate of Service, U19).
• Verify input per checklists and HC policies/procedures.
• Distribute documents and escalate noncompliance to the business.
• Maintain employee records (electronic and/or paper filing).
• Assess, verify and process payroll input per HCSS and IS processes within deadlines.
• Run payslips for checking and distribution.
• Respond to staff questions regarding HC and payroll items.
• Support HC administration for employees and line managers as per SOPs/SLAs.
• Assist with HC system upgrades/testing in coordination with Group HC Specialists.
