Job summary

VALD, the world leader in technology for the allied health industry, is seeking a Business Development Manager in Johannesburg to drive client engagement and growth. You will attend conferences, perform product demonstrations, set up trials, and nurture new leads across clinical, performance, and tactical settings.

The ideal candidate has an allied health background, strong communication, CRM experience, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Prior allied health background or clinical experience such as physiotherapist/physical therapist or similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across multiple channels (calls, in-person, reports).
• Comfortable with targeting new clients and growing the pipeline.
• Willing and able to travel for client meetings and industry events.
• Confident in demonstratING VALD systems and conveying product/industry knowledge to clients.
• Self-starter with accountability for achieving sales targets.
• Desire to build and nurture distributor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Attend conferences and perform product demonstrations (in-person and teleconferences).
• Set up and oversee product trials, nurture new leads and identify opportunities for VALD.
• Represent VALD at industry conferences and events and maintain client relationships.
