Job summary

Innovazi Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to drive new business in Air and Sea freight. You will manage client records, prepare service estimates, and report on sales activity and pipeline progress, while ensuring quality system compliance.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in sales within a service industry, with at least 3 years in Clearing & Forwarding, and demonstrates strong negotiation, pricing, and CRM skills to grow a quality client base in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Matric and a 1-year Sales & Marketing qualification (NQF Level 5) are required.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Sales Representative in a service industry with 3+ years in Clearing & Forwarding.
• Strong understanding of servicing and marketing principles, international trade practices, and tariff calculation concepts.
• Knowledge of service charges, payment terms, carrier and depot conditions of trade.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office.
• Solid grasp of Incoterms, currencies, and international codes.
• Advanced verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Client service orientation, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
• Estimate and pricing analysis expertise.
• Discipline in maintaining weekly call ratios and building a quality client base.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business for both Air and Sea freight.
• Facilitate processing of credit applications.
• Implement solutions for new and existing clients.
• Provide client servicing and maintain accurate client records.
• Report on sales activities and pipeline progress.
• Cost freight movements and prepare service estimates.
• Ensure compliance with the quality management system.
