Job summary

Bruker is seeking a Service Engineer to install, commission, train, and maintain Bruker AXS analytical X-ray systems across Africa. You will diagnose, repair, and support customers in high-technology laboratories, travel frequently, and work closely with service management and sales teams.

The role requires a degree in electrical or electronic engineering (or equivalent), at least three years' experience with analytical instruments, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• 3+ years diagnosing and repairing analytical instruments.
• Strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation.
• Excellent customer-focused communication.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install and service XRF, XRD, SC-XRD, XRM systems at customer sites.
• Provide training and basic software training.
• Repair and maintenance at customer sites and at the workshop.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and provide hotline support.
• Prepare quotations and proposals in a timely manner.
• Travel frequently, domestically and internationally (African countries).
