Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Product (Employer of Record) focused on South Africa to own the vision, strategy, and execution of a global EOR product.

You will lead cross-functional teams across product, engineering, design, operations, legal, and finance, turning complex regulatory needs into scalable, automated product experiences. You will shape product strategy, manage a team of PMs, and drive outcomes that impact customers and the business, in a fully remote, asynchronous

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Product Management with leadership experience.
• Experience in regulated B2B, HR tech, payroll or Employer of Record domains.
• Proven ability to drive customer and business outcomes.
• Strong AI usage to transform product discovery, prototyping and decision-making.
• Experience leading through organizational change and managing senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and strategic judgment.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap and business outcomes for the EOR offering.
• Oversee end-to-end employment lifecycle workflows and related experiences.
• Translate regulatory requirements into scalable automated workflows to reduce manual effort.
• Lead Product Managers and Group Product Managers toward outcome-driven delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Operations, Legal and Finance on strategy and execution.
• Establish an AI-first approach to product development and learning.
• Contribute to senior leadership discussions and organizational strategy.
