Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Reservoir Engineer for a fully remote role within the Oil & Gas sector, focusing on hydrocarbon recovery optimization and asset value maximization across global projects.

You will work with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to develop reservoir management strategies, use advanced simulation and data analytics, and mentor junior engineers in a remote-enabled environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive Reservoir Engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (ECLIPSE, CMG) and data analysis tools.
Strong understanding of EOR techniques and remote work capability.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute reservoir simulation studies to forecast production and reserves.
Perform decline curve analysis, material balance, and volumetric calculations.
Identify opportunities for enhanced oil recovery and optimize production strategies.
Conduct economic evaluations and risk assessments for projects.
Prepare technical reports and present recommendations to management.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best-practice improvements.
