Placements24's client in George, Western Cape is seeking a Customer Support Representative. You will be the first point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about products and services in a hybrid in-office/remote setup.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and product knowledge, with some days in the George office and some remotely, to support customer loyalty and brand perception.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Afrikaans or isiXhosa is an advantage.
• Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and comfortable learning new software.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A patient and empathetic demeanor when dealing with customers.
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule, including some days in the George office and some days remotely.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.

Responsibilities
