Mayfair Gearbox in Johannesburg seeks a Service Advisor to manage customer inquiries and bookings for gearbox repairs. The role demands strong communication skills and technical understanding of both manual and automatic gearboxes.

The successful candidate will coordinate workshop activities, compile accurate quotations, handle warranty claims, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. A minimum of 2 years' experience in the automotive industry is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience with manual and/or automatic gearbox repairs (advantage).
• Experience in a workshop environment is essential.
• Valid driver’s license (advantage).
• Basic understanding of manual and automatic gearbox systems.
• Understanding of diagnostic processes and fault finding reports.

Responsabilités

• Manage customer enquiries, bookings, and communication.
• Assist customers with gearbox repairs and services.
• Compile accurate quotations for repairs and parts.
• Liaise with technicians to confirm required repairs.
• Handle warranty claims and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure customer satisfaction.
