Job summary

Adendorff Machinery in Johannesburg (Boksburg Branch) seeks a Service Advisor to bridge customers and service technicians, ensuring top-notch support for tools and machinery.

You will consult with technicians, advise on parts and service options, schedule appointments, discuss warranty protections and cost savings, and nurture relationships to drive repeat business. Monday–Saturday hours apply, with negotiable salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as Service Advisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of repairs and maintenance of tools and machinery.
• Must be able to communicate with customers at all levels.
• Must be detail oriented and highly motivated.

Responsibilities

• Consult with repairs technicians regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives
• Use knowledge of products and services to provide information about available parts and service options
• Answer questions about service outcomes, schedule and book appointments
• Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections and cost savings
• Manage and oversee the Repairs division workflow and schedule
• Call customers to advise them on pick-up times
• Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business
