Job summary

Qualifications

• NQF Level 6 qualification (Diploma or equivalent) is essential.
• Minimum 12 months of telesales experience within a contact centre or sales environment.
• Demonstrated experience selling Funeral Policies or Life Cover products is non-negotiable.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong command of sales techniques, including needs analysis, closing strategies, and objection handling.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear, professional telephone manner.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound sales calls to prospective clients to promote Funeral Plans and Life Cover products.
• Identify and assess customer needs telephonically and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and rapport-building.
• Handle objections confidently to maximize conversion rates and sales outcomes.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets within a high-performance contact centre.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across Funeral Plan and Life Cover offerings.
• Accurately capture customer information and sales data on the CRM.
