Job summary

Apex Group seeks a proactive Administrator to join the Capital Markets team in managing client portfolios and ensuring top-tier service. The role involves direct client interaction, overseeing administration and company secretarial matters, and coordinating with the management team to meet regulatory and reporting deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fund administration, an eligible law or business degree, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years in fund administration or relevant financial services experience.
• LLB or BCom (or similar) qualification is essential.
• Admitted attorney status strengthens application.
• Knowledge of governance and compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer client portfolios including administration and company secretarial matters.
• Manage day-to-day client requests and reporting.
• Coordinate income distributions and ongoing administration with the payments team.
• Ensure subscriptions, redemptions and transfers meet SLA deadlines.
• Prepare and attend board meetings, minutes, and governance records.
• Liaise with lawyers, auditors, bankers and tax advisers as required.
