The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, a qualification in Legal Studies or Paralegal Studies, and strong research, organizational, and communication skills to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal, preferably with exposure to commercial law.
• Qualification in Legal Studies or Paralegal Studies.
• Proficiency in legal research methodologies and legal databases.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and edit commercial agreements and legal documents.
• Manage and organize legal files, ensuring accessible documentation.
• Conduct legal research using online databases as directed.
• Prepare and file legal documents with authorities.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, consultations, and court dates.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Maintain calendars and deadlines for legal matters.
• Process invoices from external legal service providers.
• Support due diligence by gathering information.
• Assist with corporate filings and compliance documentation.
