Placements24 in South Africa is looking for a proactive Legal Advisor with a focus on commercial law to support our growing business from a remote setup.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, advise on regulatory compliance, and manage risk while collaborating with stakeholders across the company. The ideal candidate is admitted to the High Court of SA with 4–6 years of post-qualification experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• 4–6 years post-qualification experience in commercial law.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Advise on corporate governance, compliance and risk mitigation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial issues.
• Assist in management of legal disputes and provide guidance on resolution.
• Ensure adherence to South African laws and regulations.
