Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Endpoint Security Specialist to join its distributed cybersecurity team. You will deploy, configure, and manage EDR, antivirus, and MDM, focusing on securing end-user devices across a wide geographic footprint.

This fully remote role requires self-motivation and strong time management. You will monitor alerts, investigate incidents, patch endpoints, and document procedures while collaborating with security colleagues.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–5 years of endpoint security experience.
• Hands-on with leading EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Carbon Black).
• Proficiency in Windows, macOS, Linux endpoints and vulnerabilities.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage endpoint security solutions (EDR, antivirus, anti-malware, host-based firewalls).
• Monitor endpoint security alerts and logs, analyze and escalate incidents.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents on endpoints (malware, unauthorized access).
• Develop and implement endpoint security policies and procedures.
• Ensure endpoints are patched, updated, and compliant with security standards.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments of endpoints.
• Provide end-user support on endpoint security matters.
• Evaluate and recommend new endpoint security technologies.
