Job summary

The Talent Room is seeking an experienced Fuel Station / Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy fuel station in Gauteng. You will ensure smooth operations, excellent customer service, staff supervision, and health and safety compliance on site.

Responsibilities include managing staff schedules, stock, deliveries, cash handling, and reporting with Excel. You will build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while driving continuous improvement and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 certificate is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Proven experience as Site Manager / Fuel Station Manager / Operations Manager.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Available to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient site management, excellent customer service, staff supervision, and compliance with health and safety standards.

• Oversee daily operations of the fuel station, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance.
• Monitor stock levels, fuel deliveries, and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance on site.
• Generate and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Resolve operational issues and ensure continuous improvement of site performance.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate (Matric).
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Fuel Station Manager or Operations Manager.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Own reliable vehicle.
• Available to start as soon as possible.

Working hours

Shifts: 07:00-16:00 and 08:30-18:00 (rotated weekly)
Every 2nd weekend (Saturday 07:00-18:00 & Sunday 07:00-18:00)
1 day off in the week to make it a 5 day week
